Why do you like Apollo?
I like singing, it fills me with joy and peace... From the time I was a child I have always sung in various groups, well, and after I came to BA I found myself in Apollo (happy coincidence) I remember Riečka, singing in the squares of Szeged, concert in Banja Luka, after-rehearsal "going-outs", .... I always feel good with Apollo - anywhere and anytime - and there are a lot of funny people :)))

Do you have a favourite song in our repertoire? Which one?
Killen - Ave Maria, all Bogorodice, Miškinis - Cantate domino, well in fact I like all songs very much - not just for their music but also for the depth of their lyrics ...and of course - Slovak folk songs - that can always make your soul happy :)

Is there any instrument that sounds well in your hands?
piano, organ (a bit), I have tried some others too but in a very amateur and self-learning way (what I found home - flute, clarinet) my enthusiasm however lasted only a short while :)

What is your favourite music style or singers?
Almost all style from classical to modern music (U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., Cranberries, Nelly Furtado, I.M.T.Smile, Jana Kirschner, Robbie Williams, ....swing, jazz...) but it´s trua that I dont listen to music that often :(( pity that a day has only 24 hours!!!

What makes you happy?
Meeting nice people, friends, smile, invitation to some place, good food, chocolate .... :)

Said about Apollo

Apollo? Simply "a must" experience :-) :-)

I came to Apollo three months after I moved to Bratislava for work. Singing and meeting people from Apollo helps me relax in my busy life.

In connection with Apollo I always think of it´s people and of the energy that Apollo gives me.

I love Apollo mailing list and the Apollo-journal written by Giulio:) and summer barbecues, apollo parties and singing just where we feel the need, for instance in Jihlava catacombs :)

I came to Apollo when I started my university studies and it was just a coincidence that I tried out the first thing I came across. Well and then I liked it so much that I had to remain until today. :-)

I am in Apollo since 2004. But because of so many wonderful memories I feel as if it has been much much longer. I must say that Apollo means much more than just birds of song...

I always feel good with Apollo - anywhere and anytime - and there are a lot of funny people :)))

Why Apollo? And why not? Maybe because it is not just a choir.

A huge pile of wonderful memories is connected with Apollo, I like our spontaneous singing at fancy times and places (in the streets, Christmas markets, waiting in the line for lunch...)

In 1997 I discovered, thanks to Julko and Vinko, that there exist choirs in which normal mortal people can sing - then I understood that this would be exactly the thing I had been missing in my life...

It is wonderful when you can do what trully fills your heart and especially when it also causes joy of other people.

I´ve been singing siiiiince 2000 and why? Because I like it, it fill me with joy, it makes me meet new people and visit new places... I was lucky that Apollo was the first choir I tried out :).

Fascinuje ma keď si len tak niekde spontánne zaspievame- na ulici, v električke, v rade na lanovku...:) . Najviac ma očarila atmosféra v Českom Krumlove, kde sme si spievali kráčajúc nočnými uličkami.

Spievanie ma baví a sprevádza celý život, naša rodina bola vždy taká spevavá. Apollo sú úžasní ľudia, skladby, dirigent (a jeho vždy nové a nové metódy)
